Revenue from sales of UHP graphite electrodes in China increased significantly in 2017-2018, mainly due to a significant increase in the price of UHP graphite electrodes in China. In 2019 and 2020, global revenue from sales of ultrahigh power graphite electrodes declined significantly due to lower prices and the COVID-19 pandemic. Looking ahead, due to the recovery of global UHPA electrode prices and the downstream demand from electric arc furnace steel, the revenue from UHPA electrode sales in China is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 22.5% in 2021-2025, and the revenue from UHPA electrode sales in China will reach 49.14 in 2023.
