Jinxi Petrochemical’s biocoke rose by 600 yuan/ton year-on-year, and Daqing Petrochemical’s biocoke rose by 200 yuan/ton month-on-year. In the past three months, the growth rate has exceeded 1,000 yuan. Jinxi Petrochemical’s growth rate reached 1,300 yuan/ton, and Daqing Petrochemical’s growth rate reached 1,100 yuan/ton. The raw material cost of graphite electrode manufacturers is under pressure.
In terms of supply, the processing costs of graphite electrode roasting and graphitization have recently increased, and production restrictions in Inner Mongolia have been strengthened again. The impact of the power restriction policy and the upward trend in the price of graphitization of anode materials, the price of graphitization of graphite electrodes continues to rise, and the pressure on the production cost of graphite electrodes has increased.
