Oil needle coke imports are expected to be 25,000 tons; China’s oil needle coke exports are estimated at 28,000 tons.
According to ICCDATA statistics, as of May 2022, the price of coal and oil calcined needle coke in China increased by 31% compared with the beginning of the year, and the price of coal coking increased by 46% compared with the beginning of the year. Oil coking prices rose 53% from the beginning of the year; After coal measure calcined needle coke import price increased 36% compared with the beginning of the year; After oil calcined needle coke import price increased by 16% compared with the beginning of the year; The import price of coal – oil – based coke rose 14% from the beginning of the year. China will increase production capacity of needle coke by 1.06 million tons in 2022.
