According to customs statistics, in March 2022, The import volume of oil needle coke in China was 0.300 million tons, decreasing 77.99% year on year and increasing 137.75% month on month. From January to March 2022, China imported 12,800 tons of oil-based needle coke, down 70.13% year on year. In March 2022, China’s main importer of oil needle coke was the UK, which imported 0.24 million tons.
Coal needle coke
According to customs data statistics, in March 2022, coal series needle coke imports 12,100 tons, increased by 99.82% and decreased by 16.02% year on year. From January to March 2022, China’s coal series needle coke imports total 26,300 tons, decreased by 74.78% year on year. In March 2022, China’s coal series needle coke imports are: Japan and South Korea imported 60,600 tons and 5,500 tons, respectively.
