Calcined petroleum coke
Calcined petroleum coke can be widely used in steel making, chemical industry, building materials, casting materials, machinery, petroleum exploration and other industries. (1) Carbon industry can be applied to: carbon for aluminum, graphite electrode, graphite anode, carbon electrode, carbon anode, carbon paste products of carbon refractory, high-purity graphite, graphite products, graphite chemical equipment, etc. (2) The main raw materials of carbon increaser and foaming agent for steelmaking. (3) Basic chemical raw materials for producing sodium hydride and high-purity CO in the chemical industry. (4) Machinery industry is an important raw material for processing mechanical seals. When graphite electrode is used for steelmaking or anode paste (melting electrode) is used for aluminum and magnesium production, in order to make petroleum coke (green coke) meet the requirements, the green coke must be calcined. The calcination temperature is generally about 1300 ℃, so as to remove the volatile matter of petroleum coke as much as possible. This can reduce the hydrogen content of petroleum coke reproductions, improve the graphitization degree of petroleum coke, thus improving the high temperature strength and heat resistance of graphite electrode, and improve the conductivity of graphite electrode.

Graphitization Petroleum Coke/GPC
Petroleum coke is the waste residue in the petroleum refining process. Graphitization is the production process of turning petroleum coke into graphite after high temperature treatment. In this process, petroleum coke will be electrified and treated at 3000 ℃, so that the carbon molecular form of petroleum coke will change from an irregular arrangement to a uniform hexagonal arrangement. Petroleum coke in this way can be better decomposed into molten iron, Most of the current mainstream carbon increasers on the market are carbon increasers of graphite fossil oil coke.

Forging is the first process of petroleum coke heat treatment. In general, the high temperature heat treatment temperature is about 1,300℃.
